There will be no ACUA collections on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, or New Year's Day, Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Most collections will be delayed by one day. Wednesday collections will be performed on Thursday, Thursday collections will be performed on Friday, and Friday collections will be performed on Saturday. |

PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION
January 29, 2025
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, that the Atlantic County Department of Regional Planning and Development will hold a public meeting on January 29, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners’ meeting room, located in the Atlantic County Stillwater Building, 201 S. Shore Road Northfield, NJ 08225, to seek public comments on a federally-funded highway improvement project, which will include roadway resurfacing and limited infrastructure improvements within the specified project limits of the following two (2) roads:
1. Portion of Somers Point-Mays Landing Road (CR559) in Egg Harbor Township, from Jobs Point Bridge (EH-032) to Jeffers Landing Road (CR561).
2. Portion of Pitney Road (CR634) in the City of Absecon and Galloway Township, from Woodcrest/Hobart Avenue to Jimmie Leeds Road (CR561).
Interested persons may also submit written comments to the Atlantic County Dept. of Regional Planning, 201 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225-0719, Attn: John Musto, P.E., within 15 days of the meeting. Copies of the preliminary project plans will be available for public view at the Dept. of Regional Planning and online at: www.atlanticcountynj.gov/planning.
ACUA Holiday Food Drive
ACUA’s Holiday Food Drive allows residents to place out canned goods by the curb on their recycling day, and ACUA crews will deliver their donations to the Community FoodBank of NJ.
Donate while you recycle!

Place a clearly marked bag of canned food next to your recycling, and our crews will deliver donations to the food bank.
Leaf Collection Notice
It’s curbside leaf collection time again. Please do your part to help our Public Works Department by removing obstructions such as basketball hoops and similar items from the street in front of your property. Also, please do not place leaves between vehicles with less than a 10-foot gap. Obstructions in the street hinder workers ability to efficiently and effectively perform their job, and may cause injuries and damage equipment. Crews have been instructed to bypass properties that have obstructions until items are removed.

Happy Thanksgiving! There will be no collections on Thanksgiving,Thursday, November 28, 2024 Collections regularly scheduled for Thursday will be performed on Friday, and collections regularly scheduled for Friday will be performed on Saturday. Yard waste collection will remain on Saturday.
