The City of Absecon’s Emergency Management team is responsible for coordinating the City’s preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation efforts for emergencies and disasters.
Our goal is to protect the health, safety and welfare of Absecon residents, businesses, visitors and the community as a whole.
Emergency Management continuously evaluates risks and works with partner agencies to strengthen the City’s preparedness and resilience.
Emergency Preparedness
Emergency Preparedness begins before an emergency occurs. Residents and businesses are encouraged to develop an emergency plan, maintain an emergency supply kit, and stay informed about hazards that may affect the community.
Residents should follow instruction issued by the City, County and State emergency officials during an emergency.
