Crossing Guard (Part-Time)
The City of Absecon is seeking substitute part-time crossing guards. Must pick up application at the Absecon Police Department located at 500 Mill Road, Absecon, NJ 08201, between the hours of 8:30 and 4:00 M-F. Rate is $15.00 hourly, EOE.
FINANCE CLERK
The City of Absecon is seeking to hire a full time professional to work as an administrative support person for the tax and finance offices. This individual must have strong customer service skills, excellent verbal/written skills and be attentive to detail. Will perform various duties that include but not limited to receiving payments, preparing deposits, processing mail, preparing requisitions, creating purchase orders, creating bill lists and preparing checks for issuance, maintaining accounts, contracts, assist in preparation of payroll and providing support for the Tax and Finance Offices. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Proficiency in Excel is essential, proficiency in Edmunds Finance Software is preferred and payroll experience is a plus. Salary will be based upon qualifications and experience, with a full benefit package.
