Commitment to Absecon:

The Business Administrator works to promote responsible management of public resources, effective municipal operations, and responsive service to the residents of Absecon.

Through coordination with elected officials, City employees, department heads, and the community, the Business Administrator helps move the City’s priorities from planning to implementation.

Our goal is simple: efficient government, responsible stewardship, and quality services for the City of Absecon.

Meet our Administrator:

We are excited to officially announce the appointment of Jessica Snyder who began as the city’s new Business Administrator as of January 1, 2026. She has served the City in that capacity on an interim basis for the last year. You may recognize Jessica from City Hall already, as she has been an employee here for close to 15 years. She was born and raised in Brigantine, a graduate of Holy Spirit High School, and earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Leadership at Centenary University. She and her husband Chris have been married for 25 years and are the proud parents of 4 boys and a baby girl.

As Business Administrator, she will oversee administrative functions, coordinate internal operations, support strategic initiatives, and help ensure that we continue to deliver outstanding service to our community.

Jessica is known for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to build meaningful relationships with residents.
