IMPORTANT Traffic Safety Changes: New All-Way STOP control for several intersections
ABOUT THE IMPROVEMENTS The City is converting several intersections to ALL WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS. These changes are being made to: • improve visibility • enhance driver awareness • promote safer travel throughout the community Improvements will include adding new stop signs, reflective strips, and “ALL WAY” plaques.
INTERSECTIONS :
• Bayview Drive & Hobart Avenue
• Coolidge Avenue & Oakhurst Avenue
• New York Avenue & Fifteenth Street
• Highland Boulevard, Blenheim Avenue & St. Charles Avenue
Reminders:
• At each intersection, ALL directions will now have a STOP sign
• Watch for pedestrians & cyclists before entering the intersection
• Come to a complete STOP every time
• Expect an adjustment period as drivers get used to the new pattern
