Community Camera Registration Program
The Community Camera Registration Program is designed for residents and businesses to register their address as a location operating a security camera system.
As security camera systems continue to become more affordable and desirable crime prevention tools, our Community Camera Registration Program offers an opportunity for citizens to partner with us to allow for the quick identification of possible locations where video evidence may be present following a crime.
The Community Camera Registration Program is strictly voluntary. If a criminal incident occurs in the vicinity of your camera the Absecon Police Department may contact you at the phone number or address included on your registration form. The Absecon Police Department will not be able to access video footage directly. Information provided to the Absecon Police Department will be for official use only.
Our goal is to empower residents by taking a community wide approach to policing. We hope that you will join us in this initiative and help protect the community we all care about.

Youth Sports Organizations
The City of Absecon does not administer any youth sports programs. All sports leagues are private organizations with their own websites listed below. City ordinance does require those volunteering with these athletic programs to have a background check performed and be credentialed. You can learn more about that on our Youth Protection Program page.
