Movie in the Park - Hocus Pocus on Friday, October 7th event starting at 6:00. Come dressed as a witch and take pictures with the characters of Hocus Pocus. Hope to see you there!
CREEKFEST – Thank You Sponsors, Volunteers and Attendees
A BIG Thank You to Absecon's generous Sponsors, tireless Volunteers and enthusiastic Attendees who helped make CREEKFEST a huge success !! Also many thanks to the Bands and Food Trucks who participated!
We have received overwhelming positive support of the event and are already planning to schedule next year's festival on September 17, 2023.
CREEKFEST Parking and Road Closure Information
Free Parking for Absecon's Creekfest Event will be available at the parking lot next to the Public Works Building on Pitney Road. Free Jitney service will be provided on a continual basis throughout the day from 1:30 to 9:30. A pick-up/drop-off area will be delineated adjacent to the parking lot. Uber/Lyft drop-off lanes and bicycle parking areas will be available and encouraged.
Handicapped parking is available at the event site.
Faunce Landing Road will be marked for "No Parking" on both sides of the roadway from Shore Road to the event location. Lisbon Ave will be closed at Julianna Drive with traffic only allowed to exit the event area. Two-Way traffic will resume on Lisbon Ave at Julilanna Drive.
Entrances to the event will be at Faunce Landing Road and Lisbon Avenue. Another entrance will be on 4th Avenue midway between the Boat Ramp and Lazy Lane. Traffic WILL NOT be permitted past these points during the event.
The Boat Ramp will be closed for 24 hours beginning at 12:00 AM on Sunday monring until 12:00 AM Monday morning.
CREEKFEST September 18th 2-9pm
The City of Absecon presents Creekfest at Faunce Landing on September 18th, 2022 from 2-9pm.
Join together for an afternoon and evening of food, music, beer, neighbors and friends Along Absecon Creek.
Absecon Tax Sale September 21
Absecon's tax sale will be held on September 21, 2022, at 8:30 am for the sale of 2021 and prior year delinquent taxes and other municipal charges. The sale will be held through an on-line auction.

August Tax Bills – Grace Period Extended to September 8th
Tax bills have been mailed, the grace period for the August 1st payment has been extended to Thursday, September 8th.
National Night Out – August 2nd at Pitney Park
Join us for Absecon's Annual National Night Out on August 2nd from 6 to 9 Pm at Pitney Park, on the corner of Pitney Road and Crestview Avenue. National Night Out is an annual community-builiding campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. This is a free event, welcoming local businesses and organizations, activities for the kids and food. We will also be showing the movie Zootopia, so come out with the family for a great time!
