Economic Development Committee
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month in the Municipal Complex Conference Room at 6:00 pm
The Economic Development Committee has legislative oversight responsibility for all matters related to the economic, business and commercial promotion and development of the City, including promotional activities and seeking funding sources and grants and developing connections with the City businesses, local merchants and economic development groups.

L.E.A.D.
The Absecon Police Department, with the cooperation of the Emma C. Attales Middle School, conducts the L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) program with 5th grade students. This program consists of ten lessons where students learn about goal setting, decision making, effective communication, peer pressure and the effects of tobacco, alcohol, and marijuana. At the conclusion of the program, the students attend a graduation ceremony where they are honored for their efforts in engaging in the program content.

Located in the lobby of the Municipal Complex. Access to the box is between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
