PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, that the Atlantic County Department of Regional Planning and Development will hold a public meeting on January 29, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners’ meeting room, located in the Atlantic County Stillwater Building, 201 S. Shore Road Northfield, NJ 08225, to seek public comments on a federally-funded highway improvement project, which will include roadway resurfacing and limited infrastructure improvements within the specified project limits of the following two (2) roads:
1. Portion of Somers Point-Mays Landing Road (CR559) in Egg Harbor Township, from Jobs Point Bridge (EH-032) to Jeffers Landing Road (CR561).
2. Portion of Pitney Road (CR634) in the City of Absecon and Galloway Township, from Woodcrest/Hobart Avenue to Jimmie Leeds Road (CR561).
Interested persons may also submit written comments to the Atlantic County Dept. of Regional Planning, 201 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225-0719, Attn: John Musto, P.E., within 15 days of the meeting. Copies of the preliminary project plans will be available for public view at the Dept. of Regional Planning and online at: www.atlanticcountynj.gov/planning.
