Christmas in July - Movie Night in the Park
Calling all Grinch Lovers, Christmas in July is back in Absecon, join us July 8th at 7:30 PM at Heritage Park for our 2nd annual Christmas in July Movie Night in the park featuring "The Grinch". As always this event is free but we ask that you consider bringing a brand new unwrapped toy to donate to our 2022 Absecon Police Christmas Toy Drive. Hope to see you there!
City Wide Yard Sale
The Absecon PTO is holding its Annual City-Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, June 11th from 8 am to 4 pm.
The cost is $15.00 to participate and be listed on the map. More information is available on the Absecon Schools Website www.abseconschools.org.
Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, Monday May 30th
Please join us for the City of Absecon's Annual Parade and Memorial Ceremony Honoring the Men and Women who gave their lives in service protecting our nation's freedom.
Memorial Day Events - Monday, May 30th
8:15 am Children's Patriotic Bicycle Brigade
9:00 am Parade muster at the Absecon American Legion - View the parade along New Jersey Avenue through downtown,
on Shore Road between Station Ave. and Pitney House, and along Church Street.
Following the Parade, a tribute ceremony at Absecon Veteran's Park will be held in cooperation with Last Sallute, Absecon VFW Post 9462 Honor Guard and Absecon American Legion Post #28.
Absecon Trash Carts - We're on a Roll Again
Look for your new trash container to be delivered starting the week of June 6th. With the success of the recycling carts distributed last year, the City of Absecon has decided to provide residents with new trash containers to complement the recycling containers, helping to promote a clean sustainable community for residents to enjoy.
