August Tax Bills - Grace Period Extended to September 8th
Tax bills have been mailed, the grace period for the August 1st payment has been extended to Thursday, September 8th.

National Night Out - August 2nd at Pitney Park
Join us for Absecon's Annual National Night Out on August 2nd from 6 to 9 Pm at Pitney Park, on the corner of Pitney Road and Crestview Avenue. National Night Out is an annual community-builiding campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. This is a free event, welcoming local businesses and organizations, activities for the kids and food. We will also be showing the movie Zootopia, so come out with the family for a great time!
Community Affairs Book and Puzzle Swap
Absecon Community Affairs will be hosting a free summer book and puzzle swap on Tuesday, July 26th from 4-6 PM at the Absecon American Legion Post #28. Residents are invited to trade books they're finished with for "new" titles being swapped by friends and neighbors. Accepting books from your adult chapter books through adult novels and best sellers, as well as puzzles. No children's books or reference books please. Everyone who swaps at least one book will be entered in a drawing for a $25 Roman's Pizza House gift certificate.
